Tela Tours.

Tela Tours offers trips to Punta Sal, Los Cayos Cochinos, The Belize keys and other touristic places inside and outside the country. They are also affiliated with various renowned hotels and can offer you complete accommodation packages for you to enjoy.

An up and coming, exciting new business venture under the command of Javier Jimenez and his wife, Tela Tours provides breathtaking day-trips to destinations of immense natural beauty for far better prices than their local competition.

Including, absolutely everything that other companies do.

Within Tela (please see following post: https://lempiratimes.com/2020/02/23/tela-caribbean-delight/) the destinations on offer are the following:

Punta Sal.

Punta Sal has more than 427 bird species, 68 reptile species, 35 mammal species and is the habitat of more than 499 tree species. You can partake in a beautiful adventure within this paradise. From 699 Lempiras ($US28.00) per adult (299 Lempiras for children under six years), a day of boat rides, snorkelling, traditional lunches on remote beaches and jungles hikes are included.

Snorkelling in Punta Sal and the Bay of Tela:

Punto Izopo

Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punta_Izopo_National_Park

Punta Izopo National Park is located within the east of Tela’s Bay. It consists of a small mountain that is nestled beyond swamps and mangrove forests. The mountain is known as “Sal Si Puedes” – “leave if you can!” Kayak tours are the main thrill of this particular destination.

La Laguna De Los Micos.

Los Micos Lagoon is part of the Jeannette Kawas National Park (Punta Sal) and a bird sanctuary as well. Experts have counted over 250 feathered species (migratory and resident) in addition to crocodiles and monkeys. In fact, the lagoon is named after the monkeys (micos) living around the lagoon. One reaches this utterly stunning zone by venturing into the Garifuna community of Miami. Please see post: https://lempiratimes.com/2020/03/02/the-garifuna-communities-of-tela/
